Cartridge Rebel merges thoughtful deck building with fast-paced platforming action. Each run challenges you to build your deck of cartridges strategically while testing your reflexes and timing in combat. Master the art of energy management, learn powerful card combinations, and discover synergies that will help you take down the corporate machine.

How to Play:

Basic Controls:

• Use the LEFT STICK to move and aim
• Press the BOTTOM BUTTON to jump
• Press L2 to activate slow motion (helps with planning your moves)
• Press R2 to eliminate motion while aiming for precise shots
• Use the corresponding controller buttons to play cards from your hand

Core Mechanics:

• Each cartridge costs energy to use - manage your energy meter (shown as 10/10) carefully
• Your hand will be refreshed with new cards once you've used all current cards
• Watch for red glowing outlines on cards - this means you don't have enough energy to play them

Between Levels:

• Choose to either edit your deck with new cartridges OR heal through sleeping
• Review your deck stats and card information on the monitors
• Plan your strategy based on the cards' energy costs and effects

Pro Tips:

• Use slow motion (L2) to plan complex card combinations
• Standing still (R2) improves aim but makes you vulnerable
• Pay attention to card synergies and energy costs when building your deck
• Learning enemy patterns and level layouts is key to survival

Note: Controller strongly recommended for combat. Mouse should be used for menu navigation needed.

Required: PC + Controller Recommended: Headset/Speakers for full atmospheric experience
